This sweet, pocketed sweater is perfect for crisp autumn days, or for layering with a smart turtleneck or thermal top when winter really gets going. With details like inset pockets, charming buttons, and a collar tipped with the same accent color that peeks out of the pockets, this is an easy piece to add a little dressiness to any outfit. The vertical rows of eyelets call to mind raindrops running down windows and dripping off eaves.

Made with no shaping, this cardigan couldn’t be much easier to knit up. The sleeves can be made to any length that suits, and the hem is easily adjusted by knitting the rectangular back and front panels to your preferred length. The pattern stretches horizontally, so the sleeves snug up around your arms, even though they are made with no increases or decreases.

Experiment with colorways: we can’t think of a DK yarn that wouldn’t work with this pattern.
