These reusable produce bags are as green as they are green. No more collecting endless plastic bags that, in the best of scenarios, only get reused a few times before they spring holes and end up in a landfill anyway. One ball of Aunt Lydia’s No. 10 Crochet Cotton will make a set of three of these produce bags (one small, one medium, and one large) and still leave you enough leftover thread to whip up a little Christmas ornament.
Weighing less than half an ounce each, these bags won’t have much of an effect on the produce scale. Thread the eyelet rows at the top with an i-cord, a crocheted chain, or a piece of ribbon to zip your bag closed around your farmer’s market finds.
Gauge: 14 sts & 18 rows (ish) = 4" in Stockinette Stitch on Size 11 Needles
