The Inglewood Blanket is based off a pattern that alternates 3dc clusters on the right sides and ch-4 spaces on the wrong sides, but is worked from the center out. Done this way the crocheter can make the blanket as small or as large as desired, to create a lovey, a crib blanket, a twin, or even a California king-sized blanket. This one looks amazing in a variegated yarn with long color changes, or work it up as a scrapghan to use up all your leftovers. It changes direction on one corner, next to a ch-4 space, to hide the color-change shift that often shows people where you turned. With 3dc squares that look like floating tiles, this blanket has a structural quality that gives it visual appeal anywhere you drape it, whether over the couch or around yourself.
