The Drunken Gypsy Path Blanket is a simple crocheted hexagon, but gets a makeover with a Cornelli lace-inspired top-chaining and a generous sprinkling all over of pearls in various sizes. The extra time it takes to add the chained path and pearls is worth every minute, as it brings this scrapghan to a surprisingly new level of elegance.

Materials:

Any yarn works with this pattern. Pictured blanket was made with worsted weight scraps.

Cornelli Lace top-chaining looks best with a sport or lighter weight yarn in a single color or a colorway with very long changes.
