These pumpkins couldn’t be cuter with their raised ribs and cinnamon-stick stems. Crocheted in a variety of autumn colors, a stack or line of them is reminiscent of a cornucopia filled with Indian corn.
This is a versatile pattern and can be tweaked to make various sizes of pumpkins. Stitched with 6 or 7 ribs, you can vary the number of rows in the center to create a smaller or larger pumpkin, as you like. You could even work twenty or thirty straight rows in the center and end up with an elongated gourd rather than a spherical pumpkin.
These pictured are worked in 100% cotton, stuffed with fiberfill.
